CHIEF PSYCHOLOGIST/FOUNDER

Dr. Colleen Long, Psy.D.

Founder | Chief Psychologist | Entrepreneur | Advocate for Mental Health Innovation

Dr. Colleen Long is the founder and visionary force behind Clarity Psychological Testing, a mental health practice dedicated to providing exceptional psychological assessment and therapy services. A licensed psychologist, seasoned entrepreneur, and passionate mental health reformer, Dr. Long has spent over a decade at the forefront of innovating how diagnostic testing is delivered, interpreted, and integrated into client care.

Rooted in her own experience as a clinician, Dr. Long recognized a critical gap in the mental health system: clients were too often misdiagnosed, underserved, or left without a roadmap for care. In response, she built Clarity Psychological Testing from the ground up—bootstrapping the company into a thriving, seven-figure practice that now serves clients across Massachusetts with a growing national presence.

Dr. Long’s approach to leadership blends clinical excellence with operational efficiency and bold innovation. Under her direction, Clarity has developed a proprietary, tech-enabled diagnostic model designed to deliver clarity, accuracy, and direction for individuals seeking answers about their mental health. Her work empowers clients and providers alike, ensuring that testing isn’t a dead-end report but a catalyst for transformation.

Dr. Long holds a doctorate in psychology and has trained extensively in neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessment. She is frequently sought out for her insight on business strategy in behavioral health, clinician burnout, and systems-level reform. As both a clinician and a leader, she is committed to human-centered leadership, supporting her team’s growth, well-being, and commitment to delivering life-changing care.
